Valves in lymphatic postcapillaries upon the phyloontogenetic aspect

Author Affiliations

Abstract

The morphogenesis of first lymphatic valves in different stages of human and mammal΄s ontogenesis begins from local deformation of endothelial layer (formation of circular fold) and condensation of cellular elements of loose connective tissue in the base of valve. Its quickly thinning plate (almost) without cellular elements stretches after endothelium of elongating valvar cusp. The plate is situated between two layers of endothelium and distinguished at large magnification, mainly or even exclusively under electron microscopy.
