Pulmonary hypertension in patients with chronic viral hepatitеs

Abstract

STUDY OBJECTIVE. To study the characteristics of the development of pulmonary hypertension in patients with chronic viral hepatitis (CVH). MATERIALS AND METHODS. The study involved 68 patients with moderate activity and fibrosis CVH, depending on the severity of pulmonary hypertension 2 groups were identified. Doppler echocardiography, tissue Doppler echocardiography, and vascular ultrasound were performed. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION. It has been revealed that in patients with chronic viral hepatitis in caval veins there is the accelerated flow without changing their diameter, the dysfunction of right ventricular diastole is formed; these disorders were observed to a greater extent in patients with pulmonary hypertension.
