Odontogenic maxillary sinusitis complicated aspergillosis infection

Abstract

Histological, immunohistochemical and morphometric researches of bioptates of mucous membrane of maxillary sinus have been carried out at patients with chronic odontogen sinusitis complicated by aspergillosis infection. Two variants of morphological changes have been revealed: 1) polypos of mucous membrane transformation, dystrophic epithelium changes, expressed cellular infiltration, increase in quantity of CD3+ and CD4+ cells, hypostasis and hyperemia of own plate; 2) the prevalence of dystrophy-atrophy processes in epithelium, moderate inflammatory infiltration, increase in quantity of CD8+ and CD 20 + cells and expressed fibrosis of own plate.
