Abstract

Objective: Using ultrasound biomicroscopy to evaluate the anterior eye segment changes of patients with refractory glaucoma applying local hypotensive drugs of different groups. Material and methods: 108 eyes of 104 patients divided into three groups depending on the level of intraocular pressure and hypotensive therapy. Results and discussion: The filtering bleb height in the area of filtration surgery did not have the significant difference from the control group at complex therapy in the postoperative period. UBM-indicators of conjunctival and scleral flaps thicknesses may serve only as indirect markers of elevated intraocular pressure.
