Abstract
The results of screening for diabetic peripheral polyneuropathy in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 received by Diamobile in the Novosibirsk region have been estimated. 874 patients with diabetes mellitus type 2, aged 59,8 ± of 8.7 years have been surveyed. The diabetes duration varied from the first identified to 47 years, the average of 8.1 ± 6.9 years. The diabetic peripheral neuropathy has been revealed in more than half of the patients. Its relationship with parameters of carbohydrate metabolism and duration of diabetes and hypertension has been established.
