Abstract
Purpose. To design vitreoretinal surgery technology if retinopathy of prematurity progressing after laser photocoagulation with a «horseshoe» or «crateriform» retinal detachment formig. Material and methods. 36 patients (60 eyes) 8–12 weeks aging, who had the progression of the disease 3–5 weeks after laser treatment for aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity, underwent early vitreoretinal surgery. Results and discussion. Efficiency of treatment in cases of «horseshoe» retinal detachment was 93 %, in cases of «crateriform» retinal detachment – 85 %.
