Study of apolipoprotein A-I as a carrier of plasmid DNA on tumor lymphoblasts model

Author Affiliations

Abstract

The paper presents the study of the transfecting cells possibility in vitro tumor lymphoblasts of line U937 using apolipoprotein A-I (apoA-I). Cells were transfected with vectors expressing in animal cells the gene of green fluorescent protein (gfp) and gfp gene fused with a gene of human apoA-I. The paper shows the penetration of FITC-labeled apoA-I into tumor cells of lymphoblasts, however, the positive results was not revealed with any of the vectors used in the transfection.
