Abstract

Aim of the study – to evaluate the impact of inclusion complex formation with arabinogalactan on the anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity of naproxen. Material and methods. The outbred CD-1 mice with weight 25–35 g. were used in experiments. The hot plate test and the acetic acid writhing test were performed to investigate the analgesic action. The model of the histamine-induced hind paw edema in mice was carried out in order to study the anti-inflammatory activity. Results and discussion. It was shown that the formation of inclusion complexes with arabinogalactan facilitates the decreasing of the effective analgesic and anti-inflammatory doses of naproxen by two times.
