MORPHOMETRIC CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VENOUS SYSTEM OF THE RECTUM OF MEN OF DIFFERENT BODY TYPES IDENTIFIED BY X-RAY METHOD OF RESEARCH

Abstract

The goal was to determine the morphometric characteristics of the venous system of the rectum of men of different body types. Material and methods. The venous system of the rectum was studied in 79 men of the first and second periods of adulthood (36–71 years) at various levels of the rectum. Results. Representatives of the gynecomorphic and andromorphic constitutional types have developed venous network, with the main and loose types of branching parallel to the organ of the vessels, respectively. The dichotomous type of vessels branching is characteristic of mesomorphs, whose port-caval system is represented by a weakly expressed vascular network.
