Abstract

The aim of research was to study the efficiency of developed laser technologies in patients with resected cerebral meningiomas in long-term postoperative period by comparing EEG pathological changes and brain blood flow disorders. Material and methods. The retrospective analysis of removed results of surgery of 389 patients with complex localization of brain meningiomas (basal and parasagittal) has been conducted. All patients were subjected to retrospective analysis of brain functional state by EEG and cerebral blood flow indicators using transcranial Doppler in removed postoperative period. Results and discussion. The results of the study testify to efficiency of the developed laser technologies and absence of unfavorable thermal effect on magistral brain arterial vessels at resection of basal and parasagittal meningiomas.
