Author Affiliations

Abstract

The levels of markers of proliferation and angiogenesis in follicular fluid at different stages of folliculogenesis in patients with hyperandrogenism (n = 65), hyperprolactinemia (n = 59), and in 45 women with regular two-phase menstrual cycle and tuboperitoneal infertility (a control group) have been studied. Our data allow suggesting that the development of follicles in women with endocrine infertility is affected by alterations in angiogenesis, cell proliferation and differentiation.
