Association of cardiovascular diseases burdened family history with coronary atherosclerosis among inhabitants of Yakutia

Abstract

The objective of research was to study the frequency of the association of cardiovascular diseases burdened family history with coronary atherosclerosis in representatives of various ethnic groups of male and female population of Yakutia. The results of the survey of 456 patients with verified coronary atherosclerosis and 483 people without clinical signs of IHD at the age of 45–64 years, representatives of native and non-native nationalities are analyzed. The results of the research showed that the frequency of cardiovascular diseases burdened family history was significantly higher in patients with verified coronary atherosclerosis in comparison with people without clinical signs of IHD. Ethnic distinctions were characterized by the higher frequency of cardiovascular diseases burdened family history in aboriginals, than in non indigenous population of Yakutia. The frequency of cardiovascular diseases burdened family history was higher in women unlike men.
