Influence of the cannabinoid receptors synthetic ligands on eicosanoids synthesis in vitro

Author Affiliations

Abstract

A dose-dependent effect of synthetic ligands of cannabinoid receptors (WIN 55.212-2 and anandamide) on the synthesis of leukotriene B4 and tromboxane B2 by blood cells in vitro was studied. It has been shown that WIN 55.212-2 and anandamide have a dose-depend effect of inhibition on the synthesis of leukotriene B4 in whole blood in vitro. WIN 55.212-2 and anandamide have a maximum effect on the expression of leukotriene B4 in a dose of 10 µM. The selective effect of WIN 55.212-2 and anandamide on the expression of oxylipins can be used for the development of immunomodulatory targeted pharmacological medicines.
